PROJECT

Presentation Graphics & Animated Video

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine provide independent, objective advice to inform policy with evidence, spark progress and innovation, and confront challenging issues for the benefit of society. To fulfill their mission, they periodically need graphic support to help legislators, government officials and the general public to understand important scientific concepts to support their decision making.

The Academies asked us to create some presentation graphics to accompany a report on developing standard protocols for the treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). We were later asked to expand upon the initial presentation by creating an animated video that highlighted key findings of the report. This led to Masai Interactive developing a series of videos to accompany a variety of high-profile reports. The topics are wide-ranging.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

This video was created to accompany a report discussing the development of a standard protocol for addressing the treatment of traumatic brain injury. In addition to military battle-related injuries, the issue impacts victims of collisions, sports injuries, disasters, and other serious incidents.

National Statistics

This video was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Center for National Statistics. It showcases the multiple ways that national statistics are used to impact the daily lives of U.S. citizens.

Medical Supply Chain

These two videos explain the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the supply chain using two examples – the production of N-95 face masks, and the production of saline solution.
